MEET CAITLIN
A new baby and a passion for health, Caitlin came up with the concept for Fatskn in 2017 and has spent the last few years perfecting each product.
The secret ingredient is grassfed tallow: chock full of bioavailable, fat-soluble vitamins and nourishing fat that your skin craves. FATSKN™ focuses on a minimal ingredients list that is 100% natural, clean. We strive to create skincare that is effective and replenishes your skin's moisture barrier. The more consistently you use it, the less you'll need to.
Heard of farm-to-table food? Well this is farm-to-skin: ingredients that come right from the farms with minimal processing and middle men. The fewer times the ingredient needs to be touched the better. This is how we approach the food we eat so why should it be any different with what we use to nourish our skin?
From day one we have striven to focus on sustainability by choosing recyclable and biodegradable packaging, avoiding plastic as much as possible. As we grow, this will be continue to be one of our main priorities alongside sourcing top quality ingredients.
Handmade in small batches in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I subscribe to several skincare regimes with the biggest prerequisite being that it works. Not only does this product perform, leaving your skin soft and subtle for days, you can also feel good about the purchase. Fatskn’s scientific, results based, ingredient conscious model will not disappoint.
Goes on so smoothly and absorbs well. The description is so true, it melts into your skin. Also, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or tacky after, so, once you apply it there’s no need to wait before you touch anything! I like the packaging because I can take the container anywhere.
I have had psoriasis on my finger for over 10 years. I visited numerous dermatologist and tried many different prescribed creams. Nothing had work and I given up. Then I was put onto Fatskn, tried the product and my finger/hand has never looked or felt better.
Proudly made in Calgary with locally-sourced ingredients and a focus on sustainability.
That's a question I can't answer for you. But I can help you narrow it down! How harsh is your...
Fat-soluble vitamins are some of THE most essential nutrients you can consume and put on your skin. The catch? The are only found in animal products. Synthetic versions of vitamins A and D fall extremely short of their whole-food form (only found in animal products like meat, fat and raw dairy products) and often cause more harm through imbalances than good. Your body does best with these vitamins when they consume them all together. There is a symbiotic relationship here, they exist together in nature for a reason.
Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a chronic skin problem so the key to seeing results is long term and consistent use of grass fed tallow. By long-term, I mean seven to eight weeks. After the symptoms disappear, it is important to continue to moisturize to keep them from reappearing.
