FatChap (aka FatSki)

1 review

No more duct tape, please!

Wind burn and frost bite can ruin a good day of fun in the winter. That's where FatChap comes in: an extra layer of saturated fats to protect your exposed skin from the elements. No need to apply petroleum products (*ahem* Vaseline or CeraVe) or harmful duct tape!

Our northern ancestors all used extra layers of animal fats to protect their skin in the winter. Somewhere along the way we lost (cast aside?) that knowledge and looked to "science" instead. I think we have strayed too far and that's why FatChap was created. A return to our roots.

Handmade in small batches in Calgary, Alberta, a winning combination of tallow, cacao butter and beeswax will nourish your skin and keep the elements at bay.

(N.B.: If you received a sample of the product in Panorama, please note that was a sample size and these are double the size.)

INSTRUCTIONS: Apply to cheeks and exposed areas before going outside.

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Grassfed + grassfinished Alberta suet tallow
  • Organic, unrefined (raw) cacao butter
  • Filtered, unrefined Alberta beeswax

Available in 30 g biodegradable tube applicator.

    Great for kids!

We have used Fatsyn products on our children’s faces for a few years now. They train in ski racing every weekend exposed to the elements for over 6 hours per day. The new ski balm stick is very convenient and keeps their young skin protected from the cold and dry air. Thank you for a safe and natural solution for their (and our) exposed skin!
