SOURCING
Grass-fed and grass-finished suet from a selection of regenerative Alberta ranches.
RENDERING
Dry-rendered once from frozen by Caitlin. Low and slow to minimize any "beefy" smell without needing to deodorize or further refine.
FILTERING
Stainless steel mesh and organic cotton cheesecloth. No plastic or nylon mesh, ever.
SURFACES
Freshly rendered tallow is poured into stainless chaffing pans to cool and set. Never silicone.
CLEANING
No Dawn dishsoap ever. We use baking soda, loads of hot water, and unscented natural dish soaps.
PACKAGING
Aluminium tins, glass jars, and US-made paperboard tubes with food-grade liner. Cold/low-temp poured.
